Grey-gold in colour with gleaming glints, Princesse de France presents light, airy bubbles.

A first impression of vegetal notes gives way to aromas of fresh fruit and a delightful tangy sensation. The finish is warm and elegant with hints of candied fruit reminiscent of pear.

The initial charming liveliness is followed by an agreeable softness. Notes of grapefruit meld with juicy and finely tangy pear. Princesse de France is a frank, mature wine and is characteristic of its terroir.

A subtle blend of the three Champagne grape varieties, Princesse de France combines the strong character of Pinot Noir - which represents the largest proportion - the sweet fruitiness of Meunier and the lively elegance of Chardonnay. Crafted according to true Champagne tradition, benefitting from the know-how of a renowned winemaking team that pays attention to every detail.

    Smoked salmon bruschetta with smashed avocado & feta



    INGREDIENTS

    1 ripe avocado
    50 grams feta cheese
    1 lemon
    Black pepper
    4 slices of flat fresh Italian (or similar) bread e.g. bruschettini
    Thin slices of smoked salmon (about 70 grams)
    A few fresh salad leaves


    Preparation method

    1. In a medium dish, mash up the avocado then crumble in the feta and grind in some freshly ground black pepper and a squeeze or two of lemon juice to taste. Give it all a final mash and mix.

    2. Toast your bread in a toaster, then top with the avocado-feta mixture, a slice of salmon (fold it a little if necessary), a few salad leaves and a small slice of lemon.

    3. Squeeze another bit of lemon over the top if you like and serve immediately.
