A classic Chianti from this beautiful family owned estate, just east of Florence.
Made from Sangiovese (85%), Canaiolo (8%) and Colorino (7%), this wine has good typicity, lively fruit and reasonable depth.
Medium ruby colour. This has a very pretty nose of cherries and almonds, with an underlying smoky edge. The palate is brimming with soft, ripe juicy cherry fruit, with soft, chalky tannins and fine acidity giving great balance. Juicy, very easy, classic Chianti.
Anything from salami, through pasta dishes to lamb hotpot.
