Like other "creme de" liqueurs, this term comes from the French "creme de la creme" meaning best of the best - not that the liqueur contains cream. To make their Creme de Cassis, De Kuyper use extracts of blackcurrants and carefully blends them with base spirits, natural herb essences and sugar to create a rich fruity liqueur.
A true Creme de Cassis, this De Kuyper liqueur is thick and syrupy with intense aromas and flavours of blackcurrants.
Use with Champagne to create a Kir Royale.
