With a network of 120 local depots (nearly a third of which own a share of APC) and a seperate system for fragile goods, APC offer a far more reliable service for delivery of wines and spirits.
Delivery is charged per order:
The exact delivery cost is calculated using your postcode during the checkout process. UK mainland orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Thursday will usually be delivered the next working day. (excluding bank holidays, subject to stock availability).
Orders placed after noon on Thursday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed after noon on Friday will arrive on Tuesday. Orders for delivery Saturday (£29.95 delivery charge) need to be placed no later than 12 noon on the Friday preceding delivery day). Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery to other areas. All times quoted are subject to stock availability.
Tracking details will be sent by APC to the email address given when the order was placed. You will also be able to track your order by logging into your account. Please note: A signature will be required at the delivery address. If you require the delivery to be left with neighbours or in a safe place, you can advise us of this by email (quoting your order number) or be entering the requirements in the delivery instructions during checkout. Items are left at your own risk!

Meanwhile, out on the roads, we regularly upgrade our fleet of local delivery vehicles and trunkers to and from our Midlands hub. We have recently invested in new tractor units and aerodynamic trailers which give improved fuel consumption and lower emissions, reducing our carbon footprint, and we are currently investing in innovative new lifting deck trailers which improve both safety and efficiency."

At ND John Wine Merchants we are always looking at ways to get the wine to our customers as safely as possible, whilst at the same time minimising the cost to the environment. We have recently changed our boxes to a more sturdier option. Smaller orders may now arrive using our new "airpack" system. This is essentially an inflatable bag inside a box that protects the bottles during transit. Airpack System This new way of sending fragile goods is not only much better for the wine - it's better for the environment too! The bag and box are 100% recyclable, have a low PET rating and are reusable. They comply with ISO 9001 - environmental commitment.
