Krug needs no introduction, they only produce prestige Champagnes, all are the product of a family tradition spanning centuries and legendary blending skill. This is a big, powerful, monster of a wine; not for the faint-hearted.

Pale golden yellow, persistent mousse with nut and apple aromas. Rich, crisp, refreshing and fragrant with superb balance.

Blending up to 50 wines from at least 6 different vintages gives fabulous complexity, finesse and consistency. Krug use fruit from some of Champagne's best vineyards. The blend combines the attributes of the three major permitted grape varieties, Krug are unusual in using a high proportion of Pinot Meunier in a prestige Cuvee. This is one of the few houses that still conduct the first fermentation in small, old, oak barrels to give weight and complexity.
