This very well-priced Pinot Noir from Great Southern in Western Australia, is full of juicy red cherry & strawberry fruit with hints of vanilla and forest floor characters.

The wine is a medium intensity red in colour. The nose shows many aspects of Pinot Noir: Cherries, strawberries, earth and spice characters. The palate has vibrant succulent cherry stone fruit with underlying mushroom and earth nuances. The texture is slippery and silky with a fine thread of acidity and soft mouth filling tannins.

The winery takes its name from Madfish Bay which can found near Denmark in Western Australia's Great Southern and where, apparently, fish go loco. Designed to reflect WA's laid-back lifestyle, both the packaging and the juice are right on the money. As you'd expect from wines from the same stable as the mighty Howard Park they are classically cool-climate in style with a real vibrancy of fruit and an abundance of cheeky charm.
