Details

Medium depth ruby colour with brick red rim. Open, spicy nose with aromas of sweet, ripe, red fruit and well-integrated oak. Medium bodied with good balance between fresh berry fruit and the complex leather and spicy oak characters typical of classic Rioja Reserva and a warm, rich finish.

Monte Real Reserva is made from 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano grapes cultivated in Bodegas Riojanas vineyards in the Cenicero and San Vincente de la Sonsierra regions of Rioja Alta.

Excellent with a meaty terrine of pheasant or duck.
