Bright, pale straw with lime hints. Floral and white fruit aromas, like ripe apple, pear and melon with fine hints of brioche and anise. Velvety texture with fine and persistent bubbles.
The perfect Cava to serve with any appetizer and throughout the meal.
Medium straw-colored. Floral, baking spice and mineral aromas. Flavourfull, creamy palate, classic in terms of expression (fine lees, nuts)
Xarel·lo and Macabeo from vines in Can Martí. Manual harvest.
Grapes are harvested by hand and pressed separately at cool temperatures. Torelló have recently incorporated a new technology into the press system which protects the must from oxidation. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeast. Second fermentation in the bottle and at least 24 months aging in stacks.
Awards and Press News: "The Torello family has a long, rich history, for the Can Martí estate has been under its ownership since the end of the 14th century. The strikingly liveried cuvée, made from Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo, is forward but elegant in style with an attractive intensity of zingy, ripe apple fruit." Champagne & Sparkling Wines
The secret to Champagne bubbles comes from the addition of a special mixture of sugar and wine called the ‘liqueur d’expedition’. This is what makes the bubbles. Sparkling wines have bubbles and high acidity and range from white, rosé to red in colour. Sparkling wines have been long associated as a celebratory beverage, but actually match with a wide variety of foods.
