A medium bodied red with lively aromas of cherries, violets and almonds and a hint of the mossy/herbacious character typical of Valpolicella. Soft, velvety palate showing a touch of sour cherry and light background oak. Exemplary Valpolicella.
Drink with pasta in a tomato, olive and vegetable or meat sauce smothered in fresh parmesan. Valpolicellas slightly herby, mossy, semi sour and fruity character also works very well with salami and other dried and smoked meats.
