Details
Pale straw colour with greenish hues. This is a fresh, fruity wine with elegant floral and citrussy aromas. On the palate the wine is fruity and unctuous with notes of vanilla from the oak. An elegant, well-balanced wine.
As the name of this wine suggests, Bodegas Riojanas allow natural fermentation in new American oak casks to make this wine. The wine is left in contact with the lees for four months and is turned over daily.
The grapes in Vina Albina Barrel Fermented Blanco (90% Viura & 10% Malvasia de Rioja) are hand harvested late enough in the season to ensure they have enquired the requisite overripeness.
Serve between 8 - 10 degrees centigrade, with chicken, olive and herb dishes and crusty bread.
