Very nice ‘stalky’ nose of candied berries. Medium bodied, smooth palate with balanced tannins. Soft juicy blend of red and black berries, a hint of sweet cedar-spice with an uncomplicated but delicious finish. Superb table French Red for the money.
Light to medium cheeses, non-spicy pizza/pasta dishes, BBQ or pork chops would be a good pairing.
