Here the Appassimento method is applied to the Negroamaro, Malvasia Nero, Merlot and Cabernet grapes from the Puglia area of South East Italy. Producing a wine that is full bodied, rich and complex. Lots of complex and fruity flavours with notes of ripe dark cherries, fresh herbs and vanilla.
A modern styled red blending a little Primitivo with Negroamaro, giving a sweeter fruit feel. This is a complex, sophisticated red from southern Italy, full-bodied and intense, packed with blackberries, black cherries and plums and softly sweet on the finish.
A fresh, vibrant and juicy red with aromas of sweet ripe plums and cherries. The palate shows the fruit-forward characters of cherry and wild plum and the ripe rounded finish is balanced by fresh bramble acidity.

Three mouth watering reds, ideal for cold winter nights.
This is, by far, the best case of wines I have ever bought. Only in the last two years have I become acquainted with Puglian wine and this box set has provided proof that Puglia is an excellent wine growing area. I would recommend the Three Tenors mixed case to anyone wishing to try Italian wines.
