Domaine Romy is a 30ha property located in the premium Beaujolais winegrowing area known as ‘Les Pierres Dorées’, named after the golden colour of the granite stones found in the vineyards. The tradition of winemaking in the family goes as far as 1700’s. Nicolas Romy and his father Dominique take a natural, hands-off approach to the cultivation of the vines grown in their Terra Vitis certified vinyeards, creating wines that are a true expression of the terroir.

The estate's philosophy is to work in the most appropriate way, using sustainable and organic farming practices to preserve the environment.

2021 was a slightly challenging vintage, producing lower yields with wines clean and crisp in style.

50% destemmed crop, approximately 20 days of vinification with 9 months ageing on fine lees in stainless steel vats.

Great with patés and cured meats.
